I am a full time Art teacher from the Netherlands. I love quilting and designing patterns, hoarding fabric, spreading loose pieces of thread through out my house and turning out beautiful patterns and quilts!
Here is a complete set of bows! There are 5 different bow patterns to choose from.
Pattern A and B are angular bows, while Pattern C, D and E are more round. There are patterns for "horizontal"bows and bows set on point!
Pattern A and C have an interesting option to include a ribbon in the background. If you want to make more than one bow this might be interesting to check out. Pattern E works best if it is repeated several times.
The pdf file contains the following:
- Several pages with colour options to consider. The examples can help you decide which areas of the pattern you would like to emphasize with colour, value or pattern.
- Colouring pages. Of course you can also think up your own colour combinations. You can try them out on the colouring page.
- Pattern drawings with seam allowances. Pattern A,BC and D come in two sizes: 5 and 8 inches.
The pdf file contains 35 pages of patterns, colouring pages and colouring options.
The pdf file DOES NOT contain paper piecing instuctions!
To get an impression of what my pdf files look like, try one of my free patterns like "Star collection - Freedom" or "Star collection - Wish"
Good luck and lots of fun making this gorgeous bows!
I have blogged about these patterns:
There is a flickr-group with blocks made with my patterns, called "ipatchandquilt patterns":
