I've been making things as long as I can remember, thanks to my Mom who is a great seamstress! My favorite has been quilting for 25 years now and now that my husband and I are empty nesters I am enjoying the opportunity to expand my expertise and creativity in this art. Pattern writing is a new outlet for me and I am enjoying sharing my creations plus hope to be able to help my daughter fund her degree in dance at the same time. Thanks so much for looking at my patterns!View all patterns by designer (37) »
This is a fun baby quilt made with two sizes of Monkey Wrench Blocks. I was inspired by the cute monkey fabric, but this quilt is a wonderful way to use any focal fabric combined with solids or tonal fabrics to make a small quilt for a child or infant.
Fully illustrated with detailed instructions, this quilt is easy to make and a great way to use traditional blocks in a contemporary setting. The smaller blocks add wonderful detail, while the use of the larger blocks make the quilt go together quickly.
The piecing in this quilt is easy enough for a beginner, and arranging the blocks in a pleasing manner is an enjoyable creative opportunity for any quilter. Definitely a quilt you can make over the weekend or in a couple evenings.
