Two great women were a major influence in my creative life. My Greatgrandmother and my Mother taught me to sew, knit, crochet, and tat. I am the only quilter in my family and am self taught. Over the years I became interested in pattern design and started writing quilt patterns. I now design quilt patterns which I offer to you to enjoy. I love what I am doing and I hope you enjoy my work.View all patterns by designer (19) »
This is my lap quilt pattern Diamonds For Ever which uses 2 charm packs. Large or small prints all look great. Scrappy is fine.
You will need 2 charm packs which are 1/2 dark prints and 1/2 light prints. Also needed are 2 more prints, one for backing and outer border, and the other for inner border and binding.
I love this pattern for you can make this pattern over and over and it never looks the same. The whole new look of the quilt can be changed just by changing fabric combinations.
Finished size is approximately 47 x 55 inches. This quilt can easily be made larger by adding another charm pack. The fabrics in the pictures are Modas Old Primrose Inn. The beauty of this quilt is that it looks great in any fabric combination. Bright flowers, 1930's, Baby Fabrics, Calicoes all work well. The possibilities are endless.
