The pattern uses charm packs plus a small amount of one solid fabric.
This pattern is written with the beginner quilter in mind and includes step by step instructions and plenty of photos to guide you through all the stages of quilt making - rotary cutting, piecing, making the quilt sandwich, machine quilting and binding your quilt.
The modern design is suitable for any fabric and the size of the quilt can easily be increased or decreased by adding more or fewer blocks.
There are also a continuous binding tutorial on my blog www.mackandmabel.blogspot.com to help you.

Hi, my name is Julie and I've always crafted as far back as I remember. My Nan and my Mum were always sewing and they patiently passed on their skills. I can remember sitting at home sewing doll's clothes during the school hols at about the age of 7 or so. I loved making clothes for my children when they were young. I'm the person my family come to when they want a handmade gift for a new baby,a new home present for a friend or some clothing altered. I also make a lot of clothes for charities like Dress A Girl Around the World and I like book-binding - making journals. I always have a project of some kind on the go.
