Hi, I'd really like to buy this pattern but i'm from the UK and PayPal won't allow me to buy it. Is there anyway around this? Thanks

Thank you for your interest in my pattern. Unfortunately, the EU VAT tax law has made it too difficult for me in the US to sell to countries in the EU. I don't see anyway around this, unless the law changes. I'm sorry. I would really like to sell to you.

I am in the same position. I have been looking for blankie patterns I like for ages, and I would buy several of your patterns - really frustrating!!! I buy direct from other US designers though sites like Etsy and Ravelry, and have never had to pay any VAT, I guess it must depend on your own personal set up. Gutted :-(

I, too, enjoyed selling to the EU countries in the past. But the new VAT tax law requires the seller to charge a VAT tax and send these collected taxes to the appropriate EU country where the seller must register. There are 28 countries in the EU, each with a different % tax to be charged. I hope in the future, the US provides some kind of clearing house to process this so it would make it possible for me to again sell to the EU countries. I'm so sorry. I really would like to sell to you and others in the EU.

I only read these commands. I have been trying to buy this pattern 3 times now I know why I could not. Shame, as above I live in the UK and really would like this pattern.

Hi, I would like to find out if these are knit totally on straight needles and then seamed, or are they knit in the round? Thanks!

These were designed to be knit flat/seamed, but many knitters have easily converted them to knit in-the-round. My MORE Mini Lovey Pattern is designed to be knit in-the-round.

I love these and we'll be purchasing on Friday (payday). I'm wondering, do you have one for a kitty cat?

You do such beautiful work, it shows in this picture above! Have you thought about opening an Etsy store and selling these adorable lovies?

Thank you so much for your very kind words! In the past, I have sold the finished item, but I no longer do that. I prefer to create something and then move on to create something else. I enjoy designing something, creating it, writing the pattern for it, and then offering the pattern to others to make. I use my finished items as gifts.

I love your patterns and just purchased this one! Would you please tell me what kind of safety eyes you use? What brand? I'm having a little trouble finding them. Thank you, Paige

Thank you! It's getting harder to find the 7.5mm size safety eyes. My latest site to find them is: https://www.etsy.com/listing/78650035/75-mm-black-stuffed-animal-eyes-safety?ref=related-3
Hope this is helpful to you.

Thanks so much, I'll check them out. I did find the 6 mm size at Jo-Ann's Fabrics and could use my coupon! I've finished the bear but I think I put the ears too far forward because it looks more like a mouse! Still cute, though!

I know this depends on gauge, but can you give me an idea of the size of the finished product? Particularly the blankie/square? Thank you.

Rainebo on craftsy.com
Rainebo  September 21, 2014

The blankie square will be approx. 12" square. This will help in knowing how big the animal turns out to be. Of course, this size may depend on how tightly/loosely you knit.

Hi I love the blankie menagerie so I bought the pattern but for some unknown reason I cannot get it to download to my iPad, I don't know if there is any other way of getting my copy, I can email you my PayPal confirmation or perhaps you have a way of finding out that I have purchased this but I don't know how else to get my pattern regards Norma Barry

Do you have this pattern in British terms

Rainebo on craftsy.com
Rainebo  May 9, 2014
Flag as inappropriate

No, I do not. But if the measurements or yarn weights are what you are looking for, there are many conversion tables on the internet that would help with that. I have sold this pattern to many knitters in the UK who have found it very easy to follow.

Could I just ask if the finished item can be sold on line please

Rainebo on craftsy.com
Rainebo  April 11, 2014

It is fine to sell the finished product online, as long as it's not mass-produced. I would appreciate credit for the pattern. The pattern, however, is not to be sold.

mandywils on craftsy.com
mandywils  April 12, 2014

Thank you. I don't mass produce anything. Knitting is just my relaxation. I love making toys and similar items. If they sell it's only the cost of wool really so I am able to buy more and keep myself going. I will donate a finished item to a charity or to benefit the school but I don't have much time to kind lots of things... Maybe when I retire. I will gladly give you credit for your lovely pattern. Thank you again
