Thanks you! These are made with Worsted Wt. (Aran) yarn, but they can be made with DK wt. as well. Using DK wt. yarn may result in a slightly smaller product.

Are you allowing people to sell their finished animals that they make using your pattern?

Rainebo on craftsy.com

Yes, you may sell your finished lovey blankies (as long as they are not mass-produced). This is stated at the bottom of all my patterns.

After I purchase will I get a digital copy or do I have to wait for it to be mailed to me. I am in a little bit of a time crunch for my project.

After purchasing, a digital copy will automatically be sent to your Craftsy account and will be waiting for you there in the "My Patterns" section. You can click on it to download the pattern. If you purchased by e-check, though, it will take a few days for the check to clear before the pattern is sent to your account.

in your notes for materials needed, it states extra yardage for each animal such as: 40 yds. MC + 32 yds. CC for Lamb. could you tell me what MC and CC are? and best place to buy the Lions Brand yarn? Thanks.

I purchase Lion Brand yarn from JoAnn's. Michael's also sell Lion Brand yarn. MC = main color, CC = contrast color. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi, I would like to find out if these are knit totally on straight needles and then seamed, or are they knit in the round? Thanks!

Rainebo on craftsy.com

These were designed to be knit flat/seamed, but many knitters have easily converted them to knit in-the-round. My MORE Mini Lovey Pattern is designed to be knit in-the-round.

I love your patterns and just purchased this one! Would you please tell me what kind of safety eyes you use? What brand? I'm having a little trouble finding them. Thank you, Paige

Thank you! It's getting harder to find the 7.5mm size safety eyes. My latest site to find them is: https://www.etsy.com/listing/78650035/75-mm-black-stuffed-animal-eyes-safety?ref=related-3
Hope this is helpful to you.

Thanks so much, I'll check them out. I did find the 6 mm size at Jo-Ann's Fabrics and could use my coupon! I've finished the bear but I think I put the ears too far forward because it looks more like a mouse! Still cute, though!

I know this depends on gauge, but can you give me an idea of the size of the finished product? Particularly the blankie/square? Thank you.

Rainebo on craftsy.com
Rainebo  September 21, 2014

The blankie square will be approx. 12" square. This will help in knowing how big the animal turns out to be. Of course, this size may depend on how tightly/loosely you knit.
