I've crafted all my life. I learned to knit and sew at about the age of 4 and haven't looked back. I made my own wedding dress, and I spent many happy years as a designer/tutor for UK papercraft companies and I have written magazine projects for papercraft. knitting and sewing. Now happily retired, I spend most of my time crafting! :)View all patterns by designer (32) »
A pattern for a vintage style baby hat with various design options included. You can bring it right up to date with thick knitted strings woven through eyelets around the head. You can omit the eyelets, add plaited strings and a cute knitted flower - or keep it vintage with eyelet pattern and ribbons - the choice is yours.
It is knit flat on two needles.
The pattern includes yarn suggestions and internet shops where you can buy them - both european and american, but any double knit/light worsted yarn will do.
My patterns are written in standard uk and american terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you. I am happy to offer email support if you need it.
