A scarf that is lighter than air in an open work, dropped-stitch reversible basketweave. The multidirectional scheme relies on ladders created by dropped stitches, as well as on rows worked with extra wraps that are dropped on the way back.


24 sts and 36 rows = 4"/10cm over St st using size 5 (3.75mm) needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size.
  • Approximately 12 x 48"/30.5 x 122cm


  • 1 3 1/2oz/100g hank (each approx 430yd/387m) of Prism Arts Saki (merino wool/nylon) in spice
  • One pair size 5 (3.75mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
  • Stitch markers
  • Lace blocking wires
