My name is Donna. I've been making "stuff" for as long as I can remember. I've played a little bit with most types of crafts but I keep coming back to sewing, polymer clay and jewelry making most of the time (ok, mostly jewelry).
If you would like to see more of my work you can find it in my etsy shops, http://www.GailaviraJewelry.com , http://www. ShutUpAndCuffMe.com and http://www.GoddessReturn.com .
This tutorial teaches you how to trap a cabochon in a woven frame with graceful swirls to dance across the front and back of the pendant. The lesson teaches you a basic version of this style of pendant. However, with a little imagination, you can use the techniques taught here to create many different variations of this design.
This lesson calls for a cabochon, though you can also substitute a similar size bead for the cab instead. Keep in mind that if you do use a bead instead of a cab, you will need to make the frame wide enough to accommodate the thickness of the bead.
