(5) Name: 'Jewelry : Trivoli

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • right angle weave

Pattern Description:

Use big, bold fire-polished beads to weave a triangular base for a rivoli, embellish with seed beads, fringe beads and small fire-polished beads, and continue with a variation of the stitch that works into an eye-catching chain that coud also be used to make a matching bracelet or earrings.

Switch to comfortable flat right angle weave for the ends of the chain that lie at the back of the neck.

The rivoli pendant can also simply be attached to two lengths of purchased chain if you can't wait to wear it! Note that you will need about three strands of 8mm beads to make a 16" necklace, fewer with the use of a purchased chain or if you prefer a more delicate seed-beaded chain.
