Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Make a loop
  • Make a spiral

Pattern Description:

In this tutorial, I will show you how to make:

False bead caps
A bead wire case
A double spiral connector link
Jump rings
A strong clasp

You can then use all or only some of these wire components to design your own piece of jewellery. I also show you many examples of applications of these techniques.

  • 1.8 m(6ft) of 0.8mm (20 gauge) Round Wire
  • 1.35m (6ft) of 1mm (18 gauge ) Round Wire
  • 8 8x12mm rondelle beads
  • 3 14mm lava beads
  • (other bead sizes can be substituted)
  • Chain or bent nose pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • Flat nose pliers
