I am not a model, I am not famous. I am a simple women living in a simple house on the plain street with her lovely boyfriend and a gorgeous cat. Every morning I get unceremonious into my reasonably priced car to get to my work and to enjoy traffic jams. And so it goes day by day, month by month
. To create some excitement in my life,
I created GunaDesign Handmade Barn to promote handmade fashion, arts and crafts. I hope to give you encouragement and inspiration to make or support handmade articles and designers. Supporting independent designers directly fuels local economies and helps to maintain unique local crafts against unified impersonal mass production.

Great present for coming season holidays. These earrings has a story to tell. Saint Lucia's Day is one of the only saints celebrated by the overwhelmingly Lutheran Scandinavian and Baltic peoples on the 13th of December. It marks the beginning of Christmas season and it means bringing of hope and light. Saint Lucy comes as a young woman with lights and sweets. A procession is headed by one girl wearing a crown of candles (or lights), while others in the procession hold only a single candle each. Lucia can be perceived as a symbol of the good forces in life and a symbol of light in the dark winter The St. Lucy's Day celebrations retain many indigenous Scandinavian Germanic pagan, pre-Christian midwinter celebration elements associated with the annual struggle between light and darkness.
