I love this pattern, I have made it 3 times now- I made the mistake of showing my friends, who wanted a happy hippo too! The instructions were clear, with lots of photos, I had no problems following it. I made it in dk, so it is huge and cuddly, 60cm from nose to tail, 25cm high!

i love this and made it ..... struggled with the sewing up found the pattern for this bit of a let down .. a video would be fab

Sock weight/ fingering weight/ #1 yarn. The yardage is around 320m/100g

I used Worsted for mine and it came out gorgeously MASSIVE, you can see mine under Finished Projects above :)

I love this but I would add a solid backing on to the motifies though, that way the stuffing didn't show.
