This discussion might be easier to have via email. I can be reached at feltedbutton@gmail.com. I will be happy to help you--it may be a stitch count that is squaring your buttons. We'll figure it out together!

I have purchased bright as a button pattern - I am fairly new to following a pattern and this inspired me to have a go - I am a bit confused with the stitches - htr - your comment in special stitches doesn't match what I have seen/learned as htr - what you describe is t - so which is it I use for the pattern?

So sorry for the delay in getting back to you--I have updated my notifications on messages.

A htr is completed as: yo twice. Insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (4 loops on hook)
Yo and draw through two loops (3 loops on hook)
Yo and draw through remaining loops (1 loop on hook)

I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to address further questions to me. I can be reached at feltedbutton@gmail.com.

Happy Hooking,
Susan

What is outlined in the pattern is a htr. A tr is completed as: yo twice. Insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop (4 loops on hook). (Yo and draw through two loops), three times. Make sense?
