Pattern Description:

This listing is for a crochet pattern for The Esther Crown, The Reina Tiara, and The Elizabeth Royal Cape, part of my Halloween Dress-Up Collection.

Long live dress -up time! Every girl in my family (including myself) LOVES this royal cape! It is easy to work up, easy to wear, and adorable! Fun to make and fun to wear!
The two crown patterns are unique and adorable, as well as easy to work up. There are many crowns and tiaras to choose from, but these are completely original with adorable picot detailing.

All patterns written in standard US terms.

Sizes (all included in pattern):
Cape:
-Toddler: 9" from shoulder to bottom
-Child: 11" from shoulder to bottom
-Adult: 13" from shoulder to bottom
Crown and Tiara
-Newborn: 14-15" circumference
-Baby: 16-17" circumference
-Toddler: 18-19" circumference
-Child: 20-22" circumference
-Adult: 22-24" circumference


Yarn:
-Any worsted weight yarn for cape (190-230 yards)
-Bulky weight pom-pom yarn with small pom-poms (20-40 yards)
-Any sport weight yarn (40-50 yards for each style)

Skill level:
Easy (SC, DC, SLST, HDC, instructions for picot stitches are included).

Gauge:

Crowns: 8 SC, 16 rows = 2"
Cape: 6 DC and 4 rows=2"

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Crowns: -Newborn: 14-15" circumference -Baby: 16-17" circumference -Toddler: 18-19" circumference -Child: 20-22" circumference -Adult: 22-24" circumference
  • Cape: -Toddler: 9" from shoulder to bottom -Child: 11" from shoulder to bottom -Adult: 13" from shoulder to bottom

Materials:

  • -Any worsted weight yarn for cape (190-230 yards) -Bulky weight pom-pom yarn with small pom-poms (20-40 yards) -I used Vanna's Choice in Dusty Purple and Sensations Lovebug pom-pom yarn in White. -Crochet hook size H (4.5mm) -Tapestry needle -(1) 2" decorative or rhinestone button & needle and thread to attach.
  • -Any sport weight yarn (40-50 yards for each style) -I used Lion Brand Vanna's Glamour in Platinum -Crochet hook size 4.0mm -Tapestry needle to weave in ends
