Quilling Letters for a Keepsake

Project Description

What are you most proud of? How it came together, just as I imagined. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Tackle it one letter at a time. Start with largest open areas and fill with the largest flowers first. Then fill in smaller spaces with smaller flowers and leaves as you go. http://craftingcreatures.blogspot.ca/2010/01/quilled-jade.html Although I don't have a tutorial showing how I quilled the letters, I do show how to make the flowers here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59669115/quilling-flowers-pdf-pattern-tutorial

What you will need

  • quilling paper
  • scrapbook paper

This is absolutely beautiful! I'm not very familiar with quilling but from the look of this I think I need to change that! Well done!
Cecelia Louie answered:
Thanks Ariadnes Closet! It's not expensive to try this paper craft. Just Google some images of quilling and you'll see how fun it is.

I don't know quilling either, but this is beautiful!!!
Cecelia Louie answered:
Thanks wolftracks2! Quilling is an art form that dates back to Egyptian times. Today it's a very inexpensive paper craft to get into.
