Quilling Letter E Monogram

Project Description

What are you most proud of? How the flowers are in different stages of bloom and the color palette makes it all come together. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Patience is a virtue! More photos and description can be found on my blog: http://craftingcreatures.blogspot.ca/2011/01/quilled-e-monogram.html I designed each flower, colored petals and stamens, then cut out the "fringe", and finally quilled into shape.

What you will need

  • quilling paper
  • cardstock
  • silhouette digital die cutter

Q&A with Cecelia Louie

Bonnie Brandis asked:
I so want to make this . but I have no time in m=y day . still love them .
Cecelia Louie answered:
Thanks for your kind words Bonnie! It took me many nights on my dinner table after eating. I worked on it a little bit and collected the flowers until I had enough. Thanks for letting me know - you've made my day! :D
bvonparri4390609 asked:
Absolutely Beautiful......How long did it take you to make this?
Cecelia Louie answered:
Thanks bvonparri, it took me 2 weeks (every weeknight and weekend) to make each component. Took a while but it was worth it.
