Quilled Mardi Gras Mask

What are you most proud of? I love the colors against the black, it's extremely dramatic, and the mask isn't so big that there's too much going on, it's only about 6-7 inches long (from top to bottom) so all the glittery/glimmery details are small enough that they don't create an eye-sore. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Plan it out. If you're going to use real feathers, plan where on the mask you think they look best before gluing them down. Even if you're going to make your own feathers, planning their placement beforehand makes it a WHOLE lot easier than deciding half way through that they'd look better in a different spot.
