Fabric pop-up birthday card

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I am quite pleased with the overall results. When I started this project, I only had a vague idea of what it would look like. I was not even convinced it would work! I will never buy a greeting card again and I really enjoyed making this project. There are so many kinds of cards you can make! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun with it! Your first one may not go into a museum, but if you and the recipient like it, who cares??!! You don't need to sew to do this. I use a lot of glue on these! You can get away with that because these will not get washed. Don't give up until you think your card is finished and don't overthink the placement of your embellishments. If you don't generally work with fabric, you will need scissors dedicated to cutting fabric. Don't use them on paper or they will become dull and won't cut fabric anymore.
