If you're a paper crafter in love with the look of tie dye, this tutorial's for you. We will enjoy the beauty of blended colors as we learn 3 easy techniques for mingling spray inks to add color to paper. As with the other tutorials in our tie dye series, we will use acrylic inks and rice paper to satisfy our inner serendipitous artist. No previous experience or fancy tools are required. Each of the following techniques will result in pages of paper that you can use for wrapping paper, cards, envelopes, handmade books, and other paper crafts. - Spritz Resist. Use resists to control how the ink colors blend. - Wrinkled Scrunch. Color and texture combine to get a spotty look that's soft to the touch. - Fold & Spritz. Folds are used to create a classic tie dye look.

As a self-diagnosed craft addict, I craft by day and I craft by night but I haven’t yet decided what I like most. Is it sewing or quilting or paper crafts? Or is it embroidery, baking, or jewelry making? Whatever it is, I find myself here at almost daily as I feed my addiction and discover new ways to create. Check out my pattern library where I offer a collection of my favorite projects developed for last minute gift-giving. All are easy to make and offered for FREE to my fellow crafters.
