CREATE THE LOOK OF SHIBORI ON PAPER Shibori is an ancient Japanese method of applying color and patterns to cloth. It results in a boho look that resembles tie dye. This tutorial will show you how to get the look of Shibori on paper. Thankfully, Shibori paper is much simpler than Shibori cloth. In fact, it is so simple that it doesn't require any special tools or advanced skills. You will need a few every day household materials, a roll of rice paper, a bottle of acrylic ink, and a small workspace. We will learn 3 different folding techniques. Each technique will result in a cool serendipitous sheet of patterned paper suitable for gift wrap or paper crafts. The folds and the color variations produce a great organic look with lots of character. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY None
