My name is Katie Cannon. I have been a working artist for over 10 years working in almost every medium out: Sewing, Fashion and Home Decor Ceramics Slab built pottery Drawing and sketching Acrylic Painting Watercolor Pen and ink Printmaking Art Journaling My major was interior design and I have taken multiple drawing, and fine arts classes through my college years. I enjoy mixed media and have always carried a sketch book most of my life. I love being able to draw or sketch whenever and wherever I may be. I love to sew and make things for my friends and family, as well as creating things to sell. I have taught classes to both adults and children. I really love to teaching and sharing what I create. I have participated in local art shows and fairs. Shows and fairs are one of may favorite venues because I am able to interact with people and am able to do live demos. If I am able to inspire someone to explore their creative side then I have done my job. I hope that you enjoy your look around my blog and let me know what you think.
