Gothic yet elegant Little Red Riding Hood invitations. This design was inspired by ironwork on vintage gothic iron gates. This pattern includes two different designs. One is the invitation with a black background on the bottom, the other has a white background on the bottom. The black background version can be used to write in your invitation details with a light colored gel pen or print and mount your details onto this invitation used as a background. The white background version can be used to write in your invitation details with any color/type of pen. To create your invitations just open the PDF pattern using Acrobat Reader and then print whichever of the two versions you choose onto card stock or photo paper and cut around the margins. Each one printed page will give you two invitations. Print as many as you like. I suggest testing your paper stock with which ever pen you will use before printing your invitations. For more computer savvy crafters, you can also add printed text by opening the files in Adobe Illustrator or using Adobe Acrobat Pro. I am a surface designer with a background in commercial marketing and graphic design. My sewing and pattern drafting obsession began in junior high school - over 20 years ago. After a 16 year career in tourism and shopping center marketing, I've spent the past 5 years as a full time maker, selling my handcrafted costume wings and soft sulpture. My greatest joy however is teaching and hearing others excitedly say "I made this!"
