The unthinkable aboard the unsinkable

What was your source for this piece? Improvisational What type of piece is this? Painting Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I don't like to draw before I paint. I like to just get into it already. My boyfriend and I joke about our cats having human personalities. This idea came up and I couldn't help myself. I wanted a ridiculous painting of our cats to hang in the hallway. With an hour and a half to spare I applied acrylic to the canvas in an improvised fashion and boom...painting accomplished. Is the piece for sale? No What are you most proud of? Style-wise this isn't what I normally paint. I'm usually more of a realist painter. So I guess I'm proud of myself for letting go of my comfort zone and painting something a little less serious. I'm also proud of my boyfriend's sense of humor which led to this painting. (Hash tag "teamwork") What advice would you give someone starting this project? Advice for starting THIS project? Have fun! I did :)
