Project

Over the garden wall.

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I took a photo of my garden wall which gave me the natural light I needed. I used coloured chalk to draw in the lines of the wall, then painted the picture using oil paints. I'm wondering if I should maybe add a small bird on the far left of the wall - something to 'draw' the eye too? What do you think? This is my 2nd painting. :) Is the piece for sale? No

Q&A with S.S.G

Micah Ganske asked:
The contrast between the red of the wall and foliage is very lovely. I also quite like the softness of the background.
S.S.G answered:
Thank you Micah. I really appreciate your feed back! I hope to try painting with Acrylic's soon, so your lessons will help me immensely as I know nothing about using acrylic paints.
Delaney Walsh asked:
