Flower value study

What type of piece is this? Painting Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. Used Alizarin Crimson as the pigment, in Strathmore 140 lb watercolor paper. I don't like this paper as much as using a block of Arches. It is a very good idea to always use the best paper, pigment and brushes, it can make a big difference in your painting.I know they are more expensive but it is worth it, especially if you are a beginner. Is the piece for sale? No

How I join a class for beginners?
lmfr answered:
Look for classes in your area either by the art museum or Adult Education classes (that is if you live in the US). I also watch lots of videos on YouTube. Just search for watercolor techniques.
