Project Description

What type of piece is this? Painting Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this piece. I use transparent watercolors on Arches 140# cold press paper. My brushes are surprisingly inexpensive, but I love them. They are Silver Brushes, Black Velvet rounds, mostly. My paint is mostly M. Graham, one Schmincke and a couple of Winsor & Newton. Thank you! It's quite larger for a watercolor, about 25.5 x 30.5 inches. It was one of those paintings that seems to fight you from the very beginning. I had to restart it once and eventually it took over 6 weeks to complete. Usually, I can do a painting in a week or two, depending on size, difficulty and other interruptions.
