Project

Sewing Room Sewing Machine Cart

What are you most proud of? The simplicity, ease of assembly, versitility of use. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take time to measure what you want to store on it. I have the shorter machines on the top, the cabinets currently being produced for the kitchen will also have a wider shelf, be shorter in length so they can be stored under a counter set at desk height , have higher side walls on one of the top shelf sections to support my cookie sheets, bread boards, muffin tins etc. and have pine on one end instead of prefinished shelving so I can paint the end to match my kitchen cupboards. I also plan to use stationary wheels for the kitchen ones so they will act more like drawers and be more likely to line up better when rolled back into place.
