Red Bird Tree Pillow

What are you most proud of? I love how the tree trunk looks feminine. Can you see the shape of a woman's body? What advice would you give someone starting this project? I often work on linen as my foundational fabric. If you do, too, be aware that the weave of the linen cannot be too loose, or your needle felting will not be sturdy at all.

You Can Make This

NestleAndSoar made Red Bird Tree Pillow with:

  • Linen
  • wool roving

tova dian dean asked:
I really have to learn to do this. So many possibilities!
NestleAndSoar answered:
Tova, do you think learning how to do this from a pattern would work for you? I am designing a line of needle felting patterns and it helps to know what would work for those who show an interst. Georgianne
