Joanna's Wedding Quadrielle

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Finishing it in time... nothing like a bit of pressure! I got the colours right too, yay. There are 260+ tiny beads on this! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Sweetheart Tree patterns look deceptively simple, but boy does Sandie pack a heap of detail in a small space! Not for the beginner but don't let that put you off making this for a special bride and groom.

What you will need

  • Belfast 32 count linen in Antique White
  • DMC floss
  • Mill Hill Petite beads and Kreinik Silver Cord. Hand made twisted cord and tassel.

How beautiful! So talented! And they married on my wedding anniversary date! I've not done any cross stitch since 9/11, when I was in the middle of a picture. I put it down and just can't do cross stitch anymore.

Oh that's lovely to know it's your anniversary too, but makes me sad that you haven't cross stitched since 9/11. {hugs}
