What are you most proud of? That I am willing to explore. I love to start with an idea and then let the piece unfold, telling its own story. Sometines that may come from an image in a dream, or a feeling I want to portray. In that way it has a life of it's own and I as the artist share in that life story. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I will talk about the children's shoe piece. Gather the materials and allow them to speak to you. I had the outline of the shoes cut out and then I allowed my intuition to guide me, painted first, then what pieces of fabric, ribbons, buttons wanted to be used. It took on a life of its own. I must say, I love working out of the box and seeing what turns up.
