Project

Carboard Cubby

What are you most proud of? That my little girl loved it and all it cost me as the price of the sample paint tins, which wasn't a lot. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The paint can flake off the sticky taped surfaces, so if you find that this is becoming a problem, just protect it by putting some clear tape on the top. Also, the edges of the cardboard can be quite sharp and paper cuts can be an issue, so tape over any exposed edges. You can easily create extensions later on as well.

You Can Make This

Sarah Becker made Carboard Cubby with:

  • 4 X giant boxes from 42 inch televisions
  • box packaging tape
  • sample pots of high gloss house paint and alphabet stickers
