PATTERN DETAILS

I was thinking about working up an american flag inspired pair of earrings, and so I set out working on this piece. After completing it, it took me a little longer than I would have liked for a pair of earrings, and was a little larger than I would have liked, though would still make a cute pair. Alternatively, you could add a pin back to this, add a magnet or use in scrapbooking or on a card. Materials: - Small Amounts of Light Weight/Sport Weight Yarn - I used Hobby Lobby's I Love This Sport Weight Yarn in Red, White and Blue - Small Piece of 10-Count Clear Plastic Canvas (Hobby Lobby) - #20 Tapestry Needle - Opt. Jewelry Pliers - for ease in weaving in final ends. Material Notes: If you decide to work these up into earrings, I recommend the 20mm Stainless Steel Ear Wires from AliCsSupplyShop. Time Spent: I had my flag done in about an hour and 15 minutes. **This PDF contains 3 pages and 2 photos.

I can be described as a “craft, coffee and cat addict”. I began my crafting journey more than 10 years ago with needlepoint on plastic canvas (thanks Aunt Arlys!). In 2014, I jumped head first into crocheting and jewelry making, and my blogging journey as EyeLoveKnots, named in honor of family members affected by Retinoblastoma - a cancer of the eye. I currently craft part time. This is my true passion, and I am very grateful for your business, support and feedback - hoping to make it to full time soon! I can also be found on EyeLoveCrafts.blogspot.com, where I have begun a craft directory!
