I am new to the knitting. I have learned to knit ruffled scarves. Now I want to begin to knit something. I have looked at you tube to learn how to knit and pearl. This is my next project once I learn to knit and purl. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.'Kathy

Hi Kathy, Sorry for the delayed response. This pattern doesn't have any purl stitches but you do have to pay attention to your stitch count. It would be a great introduction to working lace since it uses the basics of lace knitting: yarn overs & knitting 2 stitches together. Welcome to the wonderful world of knitting! Hope this helped.

I am new to craftsy and don't understand how the projects and patterns relate. I love this open work infinity scarf but can't find a pattern for it anywhere nor a class. How does one find how to make this item? Please answer. I see some other people have been confused as well. I love this site.

Hi, the link is where it says "name of website" BUT I tried it a couple of times and it doesn't seem to be working... so here it is: the Openwork Infinity Scarf Materials: 1 skein Magnum Super Chunky by Cascade (123yds) #19 needles. The piece is worked flat so either straight or circular needles are fine. Finished measurements: 8.75"x @67" (before folding) Cast on 12 sts. Row 1: Sl 1 (slip stitch as if to purl), *K1, (yo, k2tog) twice; repeat from * end k1 Repeat Row 1 every row until you have enough yarn left to bind off. Bind off. Sew ends together to make a giant loop (see pic below), wear & enjoy! The link is here:
