Project

Taupe it from the Top!

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I don't think I swore at all while making this sweater. :-) (Well, I mean, not about the knitting!) I learned a new technique for pulling out a section of about 6 stitches I botched, 4 rows back, without ripping out all 4 rows. Proud of myself for figuring out a button/neck band arrangement that helped pull in a little too much fullness in the neckline. I'm just generally very pleased with this sweater and think it will become a favorite. Best of all, I finished it in 3 weeks, a personal best. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go to the library and check out all their stitch pattern books! Count carefully and use a lifeline if you're new to lace.

Thanks! It's my own design, using info from the Crazy Lace Cardigan class. :)
