Project

Sock Blanket

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The size of the project and that I am sticking with it. Knitting these mitered squares is addictive! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be prepared for it to take over your life (just kidding). The main advice is to have all the yarns laid out on a table top (if possible) as picking the next color will be much easier than rummaging through a bag or box of yarn.

What you will need

  • For the Sock Blanket
  • I used my stash of sock yarn as well as some new purchases to add more interest and color.

This is stunning - truly beautiful. Can't wait to see it finished.
Nan-a answered:
Thank you. It's the most addicting project I've ever done. Hopefully will be done by Thanksgiving..
Bob Bob asked:
This is absolutely dazzling and mindblowing.
Nan-a answered:
Plus, it's fun! Progress is much faster than I thought it would be! Thanks for your compliments.
Cynthiank asked:
Do you have the pattern available?
Nan-a answered:
Sorry I'm so late in reply, but there really isn't a pattern. If you go to http://www.shellykang.com/category/blankie or to http://www.ravelry.com/groups/blankiemania I think you can find what you need.
