Skywalker Shawl - my first lace shawl

What are you most proud of? That I didn't give up when I felt like throwing it out the window!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Listen and watch Laura's videos over and over, If necessary knit with her on the tapes. I also found using coloured markers to highlight my different kinds of stitches help me. For instance, / (knit 2 tog) I coloured green and \ (slip, silip, knit) I coloured yellow. I am a very visual learner and that helped me soooo much. Be patient with yourself and if you are really new to lace knitting try the pattern with some scrap yarn to learn how the knitting is suppose to look then you can find your mistakes easier. I really highly recommend this course!!
