Project

Skywalker, almost finished

What are you most proud of? Sticking with it and undoing it several times until I got it right! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient with yourself, you learn as much by undoing as by doing! I think that it would make it harder if any yarn thinner than our English 4ply was used.

  • I am using Wendy "Happy" 4ply. Its a lovely soft silky yarn made of 75% Bamboo and 25% nylon. Colour calls itself Virgo
  • I am more inclined to call it raspberry ripple!! Easy to work with but does have a slight tendency to split when undone too often!!

CCaarrooll asked:
Your shawl is beautiful! Thanks for including complete information about the yarn; it is pretty enough that I'm going to look for it.
Halangeia answered:
Thanks CCaarrooll for your lovely comment. its not only pretty but feels warm and silky too. it also has the benefit of being machine washable!
