Seamless Artemisia Sweater

Project Description

What are you most proud of? It only took me three tries (stitch count IS important), but I did it....YEAH ME!!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have patience and fun, and watch the video over and over if you have too. Also, use the "ask question" function. Mercedes is a wonderful and kind teacher, and very patient (I asked a lot of questions). And give yourself a pat on the back when you're done.

Q&A with theMadKnitter

Purrfect Knittr asked:
Your sweater came out really gorgeous! I love the color. It's a few inches longer than I made mine and I'm thinking about adding a few inches. I'd love to see how it looks on you so I could see the length. Is that possible?
theMadKnitter answered:
unfortunately, I actually finished this before Christmas, and pre-holiday weight. I can't turn down the desserts! So, when I slip it on, my girth shortens it up. Hence hanging it up, I'll soak it and block longer too. It currently hits mid to high thigh.
CCaarrooll asked:
Your sweater looks great!
theMadKnitter answered:
Thanks! This was a terrific way to learn top down knitting!
CCaarrooll asked:
I only want to do top down now! I actually have a chance of having a sweater fit. You might be interested in the Crazy Lace Cardigan class. That is more of the top down. I enjoyed that class too.
theMadKnitter answered:
Thanks, I will check it out.
DelSur asked:
Gorgeous sweater, lovely color, GREAT work!!! Congrats.! you must be very proud of yourself. I need to start mine, but I'm still sewing some skirts... Probably for next fall season.
theMadKnitter answered:
Thank you, this is such a great, basic pattern, I'm thinking of doing a different lace motif.
