Sakura in the Sun

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Verde al Sol Link to website or photo www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/verde-al-sol What are you most proud of? The lace border section isn't difficult per se, but you do have to pay attention since the pattern is worked on both sides. I had a eureka moment when I discovered there was a chart on the next page (I was initially reading the pattern from my phone and focused in on the written instructions at the top) and it started to move a lot more quickly after that. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Like I noted before, the written directions for picking up stitches and doing the short rows in the crescent section are seriously lacking. I think having done this type of shawl construction before would be incredibly helpful (though this was my first time, so I don't have any suggestions for other patterns to try). I ended up reading the project notes of other knitters who had done this pattern and improvised my own solution.
