You did it!!!!!! It is so pretty. What a marvelous result. I'm just getting started. I hope mine turns out so well. Simply a knockout. Is this your first top down sweater of your own design? If so, I'm even more impressed. I don't think my first Ingerlise will come out quite that well. We know when I post it. :)
theneedlegnome answered:
Thank you so much! Follow Myra's method, and you can't fail. I'm sure your cardi will be lovely.
Vljones asked:
I really love your yarn choice!! Bright, but not too bright with the gray and blue mixed in. It looks really luxurious, but I know the yarn had to be reasonable priced. I think that I may go with the same yarn. Great job!!!
theneedlegnome answered:
Thank you. Colours are actually reds, pinks and purples. I was worried about blocking the acrylic, but it worked quite well.
codder asked:
Great job, great color choice, great choice of lace patterns. It all works fabulous together.
theneedlegnome answered:
Those are very kind words. Thank you!
taurigal asked:
Beautiful sweater! Love the color and pattern. I'll bet you get lots of compliments when you wear it.
theneedlegnome answered:
Thank you! People do ask where I bought it, so that makes me smile.
jclhomer asked:
I like the design changes and the color. The edging looks really interesting - what did you do? Or is it just a function of the yarn colors?
theneedlegnome answered:
The edging is a simple garter stitch, 5 rows, with eyelets down the centre, so buttons could be placed anywhere. The yarn made the striping happen.
