rainbow baby blanket

You Can Make This

Sheri Lea made rainbow baby blanket with:

  • I didnt have any solid color worted weight yarn to start this project so I used what I did have on hand. I used Wool of the andes from knit picks in a sport weight. My square ended up being 14 inches so I think this will make a brilliant baby blanket. I hope to back it with fleece or flannel with a ribbon edging.

Q&A with Sheri Lea

Purduemom80 asked:
You did a beautiful job on the square ! Did you block it to form the "Square" ? It looks very nice. The 3rd log really distorted my log. I have torn out 3 times; even added stitches...looks better but not to give someone as a gift....
Sheri Lea answered:
I did block it, I used wires around the outside ofthe square and I pinned the logs to make them rectangular. I did have trouble with the third log too. I carried 2 yarns instead of doing the slip stitch for that log in other squares and it did make the tension a bit more even for me. You can also try switching to a larger needle just for that log
