Pillow Scarf

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Pillow Scarf Link to website or photo www.craftsy.com/pattern/knitting/Accessory/Pillow-Scarf/5347 What are you most proud of? Awesome function -- neck support and warmth -- with fashionable form. It's better then a travel pillow away -- which are bulky, ugly, awkward to carry. With unlimited potential for using color and the fringe that moves, I'm just 100% proud of this design. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pick yarns that are colorful and that feel good against the skin. Go for softness and colors you love.

You Can Make This

RebeccaZknits made Pillow Scarf with:

  • I like to use yarns from local farms; this is totally a local project. The pattern uses two yarns held together. One was a hand-spun 100% wool purchased at Maine's Common Ground Fair; it had been hand-painted with spots of red
  • yellow
  • and green. The second yarns were a variety of leftover angora/wool blends from Oasis Farm or Ackers Acres
