Q&A with patz in suffolk

Helen Cook asked:
He is so cute! My mother-in-law was an accomplished knitter and I wanted to learn. I brought all of her knitting needles home after she passed, but never did take it up and stay with it. I did knit our little dog a turtleneck sweater once, though-cable stitches and all. Good job! I'm glad you've got it down "pat"
patz in suffolk answered:
I've knitted since I was in my early teens and remember knitting my younger sister a sweater when I was about 14 - and actually finishing it! Since then, it's been a useful craft to do whilst watching TV because it gives my hands something to do and stops me eating!!!!
Mayfield asked:
I have two of these clowns, my mother -in- law knitted one for all the female members of the family. My daughters is green, she left hers with me when she left home. Yours looks great.
patz in suffolk answered:
I've also knitted the little girl doll in the same pattern book many times, but I don't have one at home to take a photo of. It's such a lovely pattern that I will no doubt be doing it again ... and again ... and again!
K Lee 2Strings asked:
All of these little knitted characters are fabulous! You've given them such adorable faces.
patz in suffolk answered:
Thank you. I just followed the instructions - you can't really go wrong!
Bluebell 1953 asked:
Beautiful :-)
patz in suffolk answered:
Thank you. I'm about to knit another one, but as it's to be for a little boy (due to be born at any moment), the new Pierrot will have blue where the one in the picture has pink.
