Project

Pachyderm Pleasures!

What are you most proud of? That this little item worked out so well. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Simply follow the well-written pattern. Take your time. No one says it has to be fast. And, because this was for an infant, I made eyes simply using a chain stitch. DO NOT USE ANY PLASTIC EYES, even the so called safety doll eyes, for pieces used by any child under 3. Seriously! Instead, practice your chain stitch on a swatch and embroider some lovely eyes instead. If you need help, send me a note. I'll find good links with pictures. DMC perle cotton is all you'll need.
