My Own Pattern! Bootie Sock W Lacey Cuff & Bind Off

What are you most proud of? I made my own lace cuff and Lacey/ picot bind off which complements the sock nicely and is elastic.. Comfy for chubby bubby cankles, Levi likes to squirm his socks off, so I want them to fit nicely with the option of ribbon, cord or elastic in the cuff. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Once you decide how wide the middle four toes are, cast on for the toes and shape intuitively.. Remember, baby feet are condensed versions of child feet until they start walking, you need more room for the ankle/calf, and you won't have as much rows over the heel, which is smaller, but needs ease added for taking socks on and off. Anyway, that's how my family's babies gett generally are, my other nephew has long skinny feet, so I'd be making a more (normal) looking shape of sock for him, but he is four now.. Definitely way past walking into sprinting! Ill need to make him some socks so he can sneak cookies when my sister isn't looking!
