My First Cardigan

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Since I've finished this cardigan, I've been wearing it all over town. It's a nice transitional piece, and no need to pull up the "sleeves," since it's the perfect 3/4 length. (Which means I can wash my hands and dishes without soaking the cardigan cuffs).

What you will need

  • This is a similar cardigan with raglan sleeves
  • but I didn't like the lace raglan detail for the cardigan. I also skipped the ribbing detail for the edging and knitted in stockinette instead.
  • US 6 / 4.0 mm / UK 8

It's great!
Cara Michelle answered:
Thanks Lesleyble.
lainey_h asked:
That looks really nice - what yarn did you use? And how did you do the edging along the bottom?
Cara Michelle answered:
Sheepish in gunmetal by Bernat - and the edging was by mistake, I casted on the edging after st stitch, and I meant to have the ridge on the inside, but it didn't turn out that way. :(
