Project

Maren Cardi

What are you most proud of? I fixed the steeked edge! The crochet was too full and caused the front edges to flare after the sweater was cut. I removed all of the crochet and carefully knitted on seed stitch button bands with a much smaller needle. Then I whipped the raw edges to the back for a neat finish. I found the ribbon to be a little stiff. I think that the finished project looks great! What advice would you give someone starting this project? This project is great fun! Don't be too afraid of cutting your knitting because almost anything can be repaired. Be sure to use a very small crochet hook if you are going to do the crocheted steek.
