MacBook Bag

What are you most proud of? I was delighted that my hand-dyed yarn made stripes that almost perfectly started at the edge of the design every time. What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's not as hard as it sounds - the maths is basic multiplication and division. I marked where the colour changes would be by tieing a short bit of wool around the main yarn - the dye soaked through and there was no sign of my markers after I took them off. Dyeing with food dye is exactly the same as Kool-Aid, but without the flavouring that you don't need (and you can't buy Kool-Aid in Australia). http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall02/FEATdyedwool.html
