What advice would you give someone starting this project? just follow along. its easy. when you start the 2 color part, you can switch to a larger size needle to keep the tension equal to the lace.

  • adult uses approximately 180 yards of a worsted weight wool or cotton. 3 color hat: 40 yards of color A and color C. 100 yards of color B. 2 color hat: 40 yards of color of color C. 140 yards of color A (child uses the same yardage of a sport weight.)
